I actually don't similar deer. I had never even tried information technology until I married an avid hunter who likes to bring his game home. No matter how much I soaked the meat in salt water, buttermilk, etc etc I could never get over the gamey taste... until this recipe! It is FANTASTIC! I soaked the meat overnight in cider and in BBQ sauce all 24-hour interval. Half of it I used turkey bacon and the rest regular. (regular was better, turkey wasn't bad) It was succulent!! Be very conscientious not to overcook it or it volition be tough and not as tasty. Thick sliced bacon isn't necessary. FINALLY, I have a way of making venison that nosotros can both enjoy. Cheers! ***What'due south amend then grilled venison wrapped in salary? Adding a slice of onion and wrapping it up with the meat. Yum.

I'm giving it v stars considering my ex-hubby said it was awesome! I tried information technology but I made a HUGE mistake....for some reason I had apple cider VINEGAR in my head when I made the venison! For futurity reference...practice Not make this using apple cider vinegar...not practiced :( I will definately effort this again using apple cider!!

WOW!
07/12/2005
I made this recipe exactly like it appears hither. It is one of the best venison tenderloin recipes I have seen. I made information technology 1 dark as a master course and the next night every bit an appetizer. It reheated well.
11/21/2010
I am nigh to make this-- and i have read the comments, trying to improve my method of cooking this. Will update after tasting-- merely only wanted to say-- recipe calls for Apple Cider. (Period) Not apple cider VINEGAR! peradventure that's some of your problem..... LOL or am I reading this incorrect!??? Apple cider (as in, sweeeet, spicy apple juice)
01/26/2011
Not for us! I like sugariness flavors with some meats, such as pork and chicken, simply the apple cider vinegar doesnt' belong with venison. We cooked some of our meat with seasonings/spices, and it was swell. I followed this recipe to a "T" and couldn't swallow it. It really turned me off of venison for a while!!
01/26/2006
I made this recipe for my hunter husband, brother and family unit - there was non a bit left. At the end I deglased the pan with cider-YUM. Volition be making this again tonight for the WOW factor.
02/04/2006
This was very good and I am non a big fan of venison. In that location was no gamey sense of taste. My married man loved it and wants me to cook it for his friends. I used a hickory flavored barbeque sauce.
eleven/13/2005
Excellent! Excellent! This was the beginning time I had always cooked venison and this recipe fabricated me look like an onetime pro! I would make NO changes except I used toothpicks that were all unlike colors... (the blueish ones left blue holes in the meat- beware!) The flavor was wonderful!! Thanks!
01/12/2011
I didn't change any of the ingredients, however I marinated the deer backstrap overnight in the apple tree cider, then marinated it in BBQ sauce (Sweet Baby rays- Hickory) during the day. When I came home from work, I wrapped information technology upward in the bacon and baked information technology @ 350 degrees covered, for 45 min and it was perfectly roasted at a medium rare cooking! It was absolutely fantastic, and boyfriend gave it great reviews too!!! Wonderful season!
01/02/2006
This recipe is fantastic!!! I fabricated it for my family unit and anybody only loved it. My hubby, who is very picky, loved it as well and wants me to make it again.
03/28/2005
I am non a big fan of venison, but you could not tell at all with this recipe. Information technology was awesome!!
01/31/2011
Wow! I mean Wow! I used apple juice and added simply some table salt and pepper and after I poured out the juice I wrapped the bacon with red onion and jalapeno slices and allow the bacon marinade in the bbq sauce also. Grilled for fifteen-20 minutes and they were perfect!
02/06/2011
My favorite way of cooking venison.. To those who like heat, add together some jalapenos inside the meat then wrap in bacon.> delicious!
12/23/2005
delicious! thank you!
01/28/2011
I didnt have apple cider, then i used olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic, salt and pepper as my base of operations marinade. marinaded for two hours each mix, and put on the grill at 400* for 11 minutes each side. perfectly medium rare. This venison tasted but like filet mignon. I wish i had a steady hunter to bring me more than...
02/01/2011
We've eaten venison in just about every manner, and this was by far the best. It was a lot for 3 people, but there were no leftovers. Awesome.
02/17/2008
Nosotros only eat Game meat, then I am e'er looking for unlike means to prepare it. I was very surprised that I didn't need to add any seasoning to this meat. I was going to, but decided to fix it as stated in the recipe for the outset try. I am glad I did. This was perfect. I marinated it in apple tree cider for three one/ii hours, then in classic BBQ sauce for 3 hours. And then I wrapped in bacon and secured with toothpick. When I placed them on the bbq, I did not exit. You wouldn't walk abroad from a pan of frying bacon would y'all? In one case the bacon got crisp, I moved the meat to the other side of the grill. The side that didn't take rut and airtight the chapeau, so that the bacon and meat could cook a little longer without burning. When I told my married man how I cooked them, he raised his eyebrows (large time skeptic). Then he took a bite and said "MMMM make sure yous write down the recipe" Cheers for the recipe!!
01/sixteen/2011
First of all venison is for me is like going into uncharted territory. But this recipe did not disappoint, but I practise believe I did overcook a wee flake. A few minor tweaks; meat was marinated in Italian dressing for most of the 24-hour interval, no apple tree cider in the house. Also since grilling was out of the question due to a snowfall tempest, I broiled them at 350 degrees, covered, for 45 minutes. No livery or gamey taste, quite tender, only not the medium rare doneness I was hoping for. I'd love to attempt this once more using the grill. Thanks for the great recipe.
01/xxx/2011
Used this recipe and the venison came out Nifty. Left the venison chunks in the apple cider & barbecue sauce for most six hours each. Cooked until med-well. Keep an eye on the bacon when cooking, really flames up. Enjoy.
12/06/2010
This is a neat recipe! I take been cooking with venison for years and this past far has to be THE BEST yet! My husband even took some to work for the guys and they all desire the recipe!
01/fifteen/2011
This was incredible. I unremarkably start this in the morning, marinate in cider for six hours, and so bbq for 6. Christmas night I was outside in x degrees cooking this on the grill for dinner. Nada I would do to change this. We utilize maple bacon and it is the family's new fave repast. And the leftovers are almost better the adjacent mean solar day - cold!
02/21/2011
Great recipe! I would add together the tip that you may need to put foil downwardly on the grill. My backstrap was falling autonomously even tied together with the bacon.
01/01/2005
Incredible! I made this for Christmas dinner. It was immediately decided that this would exist our traditional dinner from at present on. Since I exercise not intendance for BBQ sauce, I used A.1. Steak House Marinade - Garlic and Herb. Every mouthful was tender and delicious. Lookout man the cooking time carefully and remember that the meat will continue to cook after information technology is removed from the grill -- of import if yous like your meat medium rare, as I exercise.
12/08/2010
This was unbelievable - My family thought they were eating Filet Mignon. Easy to prep and melt. I did use Hickory BBQ - can't wait to make it once more!!!!!!!
12/15/2010
I made this 3 times now, I am very impressed. I agree with KC Masterpeice Hickory sauce, just I like information technology with regular sliced bacon instead. Everyone needs to try this.
01/xvi/2011
i made but 1 change to this. i cut the center out of each chunk of venison. yous tin utilise all the heart pieces for kabobs. i then put either jalapenos (sp) or scallops in the centers (held in place by the toothpicks).
12/19/2010
Great! My husband, sons, and I hold on 5-stars for this recipe. We will exist having this again!
12/24/2010
We loved this. I'm always skeptical when making venison. I would propose skilful quality BBQ sauce as yous do gustatory modality that. We just used any bottle that I had and it wasn't our favorite kind and then I think the recipe would have been even better. This was so worth grilling in 15 caste weather.
02/23/2005
We process our own meat every year and live off of venison yr around. I've never tasted anything this fabulous! My husband enjoyed the leftovers the following evening. Kids loved it besides!
02/21/2011
I gave it four stars, information technology was good only I guess I was expecting a little more. Thanks for the recipe.
01/07/2008
This tastes great. I put them on skewers instead of split toothpicks. Since it was as well cold to employ the grill, I broiled the for ten minutes on each side and they turned out wonderful. The sense of taste of the cider and barbeque composite very well together. (I used Sweet Baby Ray's) I volition definitely be using this recipe again!
05/06/2009
Love this ane, we used apple juice instead of cider and it was great.
10/16/2010
Absolutely delicious! Didn't take a grill to utilize, so broiled the meat. Bacon was crisp and blackened, venison was flavorful and tender. My husband is picky, and he LOVED this! Volition definitely be making this again!
12/11/2009
This is wonderful. Yum!! If I had more backstraps, I would make it again. I reccomend this recipe to anybody!!! Enjoy!
08/09/2010
THIS MAKES MY TUMMY SOOOO HAPPY!!! what a wonderfull recipe. very uncomplicated and crawly. my whole family loved it. however, it's was nearing the end of summertime and there were no backstrap left in the freezer. had the taste for some venison. i had a small roast only it was summer, i didn't want to have a roast in summertime. so i used it to cutting upwardly for this recipe. and BAM! it was wonderfull. i did use a fiddling tenderizer since it wasn't as tender a cut of meat. and afterwards the apple cider soak, i sprinkled everything with some onion salt and garlic pulverization before soaking in barbeque sauce. I WAS AMAZED!!
06/24/2011
This recipe is AWESOME. The meat was then tender. The flavor was not gamey at all. Thanks for sharing!!!
01/26/2011
I let the venison sit overnight in the cider. That was really the only thing I did different with this recipe. Eventhough my wife does not swallow deer meat, she ate ii helpings of this. I couldn't seem to get it off the grill fast plenty. I can honestly say that the entire family loves this and I volition definitly make this over again!
03/27/2011
crawly! but you definitely have to put foil downwards on the grill. Super succulent!
11/03/2010
A+ recipe. In that location's not very many ways to grill venison simply this one is worth it. I threw near 1/3 bottle of Italian dressing into 2/3 canteen of BBQ and the results were excellent. The oil in the dressing helps tenderize and raise the season.
10/31/2010
Exactly as everyone says. Venison has never been a hitting in my house. I cut a half backstrap into 12 modest medallions. My married woman cautiously took i, prepared to fill up entirely on light-green beans if she didn't like the deer. After eating 1 medallion she took 2 more than, and then she went back for seconds, eating five full. I ate six myself, and I'm taking the i piece left over to the guy at work who gave united states the backstrap.
03/13/2010
I have prepared this a couple times now and it's admittedly fantastic.
x/15/2004
OH MY GOD!! YUM! YUM! This is the BEST recipe. Being the start time I fix venison backstrap and actually ate it. I permit it marinate overnight in the apple cider and I used smoky maple salary. I set up this for my friends and my hunter husband and they could not get enough of it. Information technology was so tender and juicy and the bacon gave it such a nice smoky flavor and NO GAMEY TASTE! It deserves more than 5 stars!!! Cheers then much Garry. Did I mention that this recipe ROCKS!!
07/xvi/2009
This was amazing!! WE can't get enough of information technology, its 1 of the best venison recipes i take Ever tasted!
10/twenty/2010
Great recipe. Why is information technology folks feel the need to marinate in saltwater? yuk! Buttermilk, maybe, but it always seems to be in an attempt to "get rid of the gamey sense of taste". Well thats what makes information technology venison. If yous don't like the gamey taste, cook a hamburger. I honey this recipe, its easy, its simple, and if you similar the gustation of venison, this is how to fix information technology.
03/10/2011
I will be making this recipe every deer season! Information technology was admittedly fantastic! Yous can't go incorrect when you wrap bacon around something!
11/06/2011
Wonderful! Serve these to friend and brand them almost i.five" square. Too use thinner salary and so it gets crispy, not chewy and fatty tasting.
11/22/2005
Turned out really good...I also used an A1 marinade instead of BBQ sauce. Marinated in the apple tree cider for six hours and the A1 overnight. I cooked mine on my broiler though, since it's November in Michigan and I didn't feel similar firing upwardly the grill.
04/13/2011
But finished cookling this for the commencement time! My husband, who I have NEVER been able to laissez passer deer meat off equally something else before, thought nosotros were eating steak! My children gave it 5 stars and I accept a new recipe that I will utilize for many, many years to come! Succulent!
10/13/2009
Excellent, excellent, fantabulous!! I made this tonight and all I can say is OMG its excellent!! I started it 2 days ago with the apple tree cider, then yesterday in the BBQ sauce, and grilled tonight. The only thing was that the bacon didn't well-baked up as I had hoped it would merely I didn't want to overcook the the cubes of meat. Thank for this GREAT recipe. We will be making many more than times.
10/26/2008
My husband and son are avid hunters. I've tried just about every venison recipe out at that place over the last 22 years and this By FAR is the All-time! I'd give this recipe more than five stars if possible! I had company for dinner and served this. No 1 knew that information technology was venison. Anybody, including my three immature children (ages 5, 4 and three) loved this. They all thought they were eating filet mignon. Needless to say, non a morsel was left! You could not imagine their daze when I revealed they had eaten venison. All of my guest with hunters in the family left with this recipe. This is a definite MUST try!
06/16/2010
Amanzing... everyone loved this recipe. As side dishes I made cherry skin mashed potatoes with garlic and herb spice and added chedder cheese and amish noodles with a white gravy.
11/08/2006
Loved it, sweet BBQ gustation. No Gamey gustatory modality. A spicey BBQ sauce would be improve to showtime the sweetness of the Apple tree Cider. Over cooks easy watch it advisedly.
05/16/2011
OMG....This was sooooo expert! My married man is an gorging hunter and I've tried so many recipes only to be disappointed. This is by far THE All-time venison recipe always! My half-dozen twelvemonth onetime even asked for seconds!!
08/11/2011
Made exactly every bit written, only using apple tree juice instead of cider. Cooked in the broiler. Turned out fantastic. Husband loved them and so did I. A+
07/thirty/2008
I didn't change a thing, and I won't in the time to come either. I did a couple pieces of beefiness tenderloin alongside just for comparison. They practise taste unlike, but anybody agreed that one was only equally good equally the other.
01/06/2012
I am not a meat eater but my hubby and son are! I made these for them and they couldn't end raving nigh this. My husband says that the gamey flavor is gone and he was able to actually relish the venison. I did everything the recipe said and information technology turned out perfectly. This is a keeper!!!
06/29/2010
My hubby made this for our family. Usually not the family unit cook, he did a groovy job and it was delicious. I don't similar Venison and I ended up eating three pieces. He used Jack Daniels BBQ sauce.
04/10/2011
Utterly awesome and simple. Even people who say they don't similar venison are e'er surprised at how good this turns out. The secret is marinating it for a long time.
01/05/2010
Mmmm! They just melted in the oral cavity! Marinated in the cider overnight and in the BBQ sauce for about v hours. I used regular salary cut in one-half, and this was plenty to wrap around the chunks. Existence winter, I baked at 425 degrees for nigh fifteen minutes. I served these as an hors d'Å“uvre at Christmas, and everyone hovered around them until they were gone.
12/09/2008
This recipe was wonderful! I only requite information technology a 5 considering all game flavor was gone. Some girls just like some game! Anyway, my husband and I don't have a grill (apartment living) and then we broiled it instead. About 7 minutes on each side was enough to be pretty well done. I will use this once again, although next time I will merely baste the meat with the BBQ before broiling.
eleven/24/2006
Admittedly delicious! My swain said requite it 20 stars. We marinated the meat in apple cider overnight and then the BBQ sauce for 3 1/2 hours. The meat was tender, and flavors composite and then well. We have e-mailed this recipe to several friends and we will make again and again.
12/28/2011
This is a good recipe. The only affair I institute was that some pieces had more than of a vinegar sense of taste than anything. It was still practiced only not sure that I would make it again correct away. The visitor did like it though!!
10/13/2010
This was then elementary and delicious. I couldn't get my charcoal grill going so I used the gas grill. Information technology was however amazing! I would recommend this 1 to anyone.
10/22/2007
As a lifelong hunter and venison consumer I tin vouch that this is a pretty proficient recipe. I have one major qualm though. The backstrap steak is the equivalent to the "new york strip" non the filet mignon. At least in Georgia nosotros refer to the loin as the backstrap and the tenderloin as the tenderloin (which is where the filet comes from).
08/22/2009
Thank you!!! My husband and I both agreed this is the BEST grilled venison steak I've ever fixed! I've frequently pounded our venison steaks flat, breaded and fried because I was never happy with them grilled merely this was wonderful and we can't await to make it for visitor! I had planned to follow the recipe exact but apple tree cider seems to be a seasonal item and not yet in our grocery stores so I concluded up buying the instant spiced apple cider and used 1 pkt of that mixed with 6oz of water. I used KC Masterpiece Original for the bbq sauce then wrapped in thin sliced bacon and put them on metal skewers to grill. Awesome!!! I'thousand tempted to get some more than steaks out of the freezer. :)
04/25/2012
The best ever! Leave it exactly the same:) Thank u and so much for this recipe!!!
09/28/2006
We beloved this venison recipe. It fifty-fifty tastes pretty practiced cold which is unusual for venison. We've used some other cuts of venison steak and take been equally pleased. Great recipe and pretty good for you lot, too!
08/03/2010
We savor the taste of venison that most people draw as "gamey" and so I didn't marinate in the BBQ sauce. I just basted the meat before grilling and information technology came out beautifuly. Definately one of our favorite tenderloin recipes!
04/17/2011
WOW! Was that really deer. I take never establish a recipe that I can honestly say I couldn't tell it was not beefiness. This is a keeper. I changed a few things only because I didn't accept all the ingredients. I used pineapple juice in place of apple cider for 2 hours. In place of BBQ sauce I used a sauce, I employ for sweet n sour venison meatballs. One canteen chili sauce to one small jar grape jelly warmed until melted together. I know that sounds weird just I asked a friend for this sauce recipe at a picnic a long time ago because information technology was sooo good ! When she told me that was all there was to it I was amazed. Try information technology one-time it'due south really expert YUMM
x/xviii/2010
This was just excellent. I am non a fan of venison and we had gotten a package of backstrap from our blood brother-in-police. I had to one-half the recipe considering it was a small slice. I soaked it in the apple cider overnight and so in the barbeque sauce during the twenty-four hour period. I did add together a slice of onion before wrapping each piece in bacon. It was the best meat that I take ever eaten. Wish I had more!!
10/31/2011
HEy Girl!! Thank you Give thanks You Cheers for posting this recipe!!! YOUR recipe was off the charts, too bad the ratings don't become to a zillion..OMG This was such abig hit for our family!! My b/f's sis gave usa what was in her freezer to make room for her hubby'due south season of game.. The backstrap was o tender & flavorful, one would of never nown it was even Vennison.. THis was a big striking with my b/f'due south domicile-made oven cheesy & garlic wtih onion potatoes with a peanut butter meltaway block to follow for any occasion.. 06/26/2007
My husband is an avid hunter who has been eating deer for YEARS. This recipe was my first fourth dimension preparing it, and he said it was the all-time he ever tasted!
04/nineteen/2011
This is a great recipe! I did make some minor changes. I didn't cut the meat into chunks only left it whole. I cooked it on the Foreman Grill on high. I sprayed with grill with Pam. I wrapped several pieces of bacon(didn't utilise all that bacon) effectually the whole steak and cooked it for @ 10 mins until the internal temp was 145*
04/10/2011
So good, the whole family loved information technology. *note - I only used about 3/iv bottle of bbq sauce (because that's what I had) and it was more than enough.
12/17/2008
I absolutely Detest venison. I accept cooked it a million ways to try to find a manner I like it equally we have I call back 4 deer in our big freezer. (My family loves it...) I cooked this, and I loved it. I could barely tell it was venison and I made sure there weren't whatever leftovers! Thank you for giving me a delicious way to use up some of the venison!
04/xviii/2006
This is past far the best recipe for back loin I have ever tried. cheers
11/23/2009
I followed this recipe almost exactly only I couldn't use a grill :( It was still great in a pan, merely hopefully in the spring I tin try information technology on a charcoal grill.
12/fourteen/2011
Unproblematic recipe, the best tasting back straps i take had to date!!
11/30/2009
I've used numerous recipes for venison over the years, and typically prefer to cook it all day in a crockpot....until at present. This recipe was, by far, the all-time venison dish I've ever prepared. My girlfriend can't stand the taste of wild game....from pigeon breast to deer meat....this time she actually loved it and asked when I planned on cooking information technology once more. The merely thing I changed was the amount of time in marinating. I soaked the the chunks in the apple cider for 6 hours, and then in the BBQ sauce for another 6 hours. Call back to accept a couple glasses of water ready while cooking....the bacon causes flare-ups, so don't walk away from the grill!
12/xx/2009
HOLY COW! Er...Deer! This is fantastic! Information technology'southward amazing how bacon tin totally transform any dish! Non a huge fan of venison, but my dad is an avid hunter so we end upwardly with lots of meat. I was looking for something that would cutting through some of the gamey-ness and this definately did it. It doesn't mask the flavor of the deer meat, simply rather makes it WAAAY better! This volition be a standard venison recipe from now on!
01/03/2007
I fabricated this with a tenderloin that was given to me - already sliced into medallions. I did everything else the recipe called for, but threaded the medallions onto skewers with a strip of bacon on i side. Grilled for a few minutes each side, and information technology was all the same great! I should've put a piece of bacon on both sides - some of the medallions were dry. But the season was only sooooo practiced!! Nosotros ate it all and could non exit the table, we were all wishing in that location was more somehow!!!
03/31/2008
Let me but say that I have never eaten and then much venison in one sitting! It was the all-time I have ever eaten. My husband is the one who has been eating venison since he was two, and he told me that information technology was the best venison flavoring he has ever had!!! It blew my mind because he is a lover of venison and has had it then frequently throughout his life. I did use cubed steak instead of the tenderloin because that is what I had in the freezer, and it turned out wonderfully! What a wonderful taste for such a simple recipe!
01/10/2007
Groovy mode to grill venison-if you want to grill it. I accept always disliked venison outside of stews, chili, etc- simply this was actually pretty proficient. I did take to dip the meat in BBQ sauce, but my two boys and husband went dorsum for seconds! Told me to make sure I get in over again, then it is a winner in my volume!
eleven/25/2009
thanks for sharing this recipe! the boys at my house are Really enjoying these (and even though I'm allergic to venison I have to acknowledge that I've tried a piece or 2! they just smelled to good not to) I made them into about 1 inch pieces for more of an appetizer. We volition definitely be making these again!
03/04/2007
Very tasty! I live in the hill state of Texas, nosotros eat alot of venison. Try this recipe and add a jalapeno slice before you wrap the bacon around the venison. This gives it a little zest.
05/25/2011
First-class! My married man has been hunting for over 20 years and I take always enjoyed dishes made with ground venison or venison stew. Notwithstanding, I have never liked venison steak and this was soooo yummy! It was total of flavor with out a gamey taste, and so tender. I bought apple juice past mistake, but it did not seem to make a divergence in flavor or tenderness. This is a definate keeper!
12/04/2011
This recipe makes deer sense of taste astonishing. I would recommend this recipe to anyone. I have had more than compliments on this recipe than anything else I have ever cooked. Information technology is very elementary, but still tastes amazing. Also, I agree with every other review, the two marinades make the meat very tender and go rid of virtually all of the gamey season. Besides, if you have thin long cuts of meat (from the processor), then wrap it in ii strips of bacon to fully cover it and cook it for perchance half the time, if even that long. Amazing recipe, whoever came up with it deserves an award!
07/28/2011
I was actually pleasantly surprised with this recipe:) My family nevered hunted so when i married a hunter i admit to ruining a few deer steaks trying to learn to make information technology without information technology tasting to gamey for my tastes..this did it..YUM!
05/05/2011
This was fantastic!! I used Famous Dave's Rich and Sassy BBQ sauce and maple flavored bacon which I think gave information technology a really squeamish season! My boyfriend was very skeptical but LOVED information technology and claimed it his FAVORITE venison recipe! Served it with a fresh dark-green salad and fabricated an amazing dinner. Cheers for the recipe!
07/27/2010
This recipe is frickin awesome i eat information technology with a fork ,i mean i cut information technology with a fork i tell everybody that eats deermeat
07/31/2011
admittedly astounding recipe for our venison tenderloin ! Rave reviews from everyone dining with usa this evening! Poor Bambi. We used PC Apple Butter BBQ sauce - delish!
11/07/2007
An awesome style to introduce venison to non-hunters and a adept mode to impress old hunters. Everyone loved it and said it was better than beef or any other venison they have ever made. I can't expect to get another DOE!
07/09/2011
actually easy. meat didn't taste gamey (sp). I hope to brand it over again.
05/03/2009
Fantastic, couldn't fifty-fifty tell it was venison. I didn't have apple cider available, and so I just used frozen apple juice concentrate and it worked great.
12/01/2011
Beloved the recipe but I did marinated the venison in soy sauce, orangish juice and garlic. Super yummy!
06/29/2013
I was unable to purchase apple cider since it was non in season, then I used apple juice instead. This is spectacular!
01/xix/2010
Amazing! Nosotros loved it.....and this was our first time cooking venison. We but used 1 lb. regular bacon and about 16 oz. barbeque sauce.....and discovered that information technology turned out better to use medium-low heat for five-seven minutes per side, making sure the meat was still pinkish in the middle. Wasn't gamey at ALL, tasted just like beef. Thanks for the recipe!!
12/07/2011
This is the all-time venison recipe I accept institute even so!!! I'5 fabricated information technology twice, maranaded the deer in apple juice overnight. Then in the forenoon, I put it in the bbq sauce. When we got home, I grilled them till the bacon was a fiddling burnt. My family loves these.
